Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed?

It is safer to sleep with doors closed in case of a fire, but do you? I sleep with mine open so I can better hear through my house. My niece used to sleepwalk when she lived with me so I got used to sleeping with the door open so I could hear if she got up. So do you sleep with the door open or closed? Any particular reason why?

I usually would close it.. I feel uncomfortable with it being open.. If my husband is up, I will leave it open.. But when we are all asleep at night, I will close it.. I feel like something may be in our room.. Just me being paranoid. I don't like the feeling that someone can just come into my room like that..
