My spouse loves to work with his art supplies. And, today he left some out on the counter and the cat knocked it over. Now, it's everywhere. What a big mess! I have oil paint all over my dress and hands (from the cat's paws). I have no idea how to get it off of my clothes.
Do you have any type of homemade remedies or cleaning solutions that would take out oil paint or craft supplies from clothes? I've tried dish detergent, but that isn't working. I haven't tried baking soda. Do you think that would work? Any frugal suggestions or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks!

If it's oil based, the only thing that will have a chance of removing it is another oil based product. Try gasoline, kerosene, nail polish remover or lamp oil - something like that. Of course, be very careful with gasoline as the fumes are flammable.

That's a super tip! I had not thought to use nail polish remover. Makes sense though. You always have the best tips. Thanks!
