Is Your Pet part of your family? Well I would have to say that mine is. My cat Rags is just like a person. He and I live here alone. I treat him like he is my child. My oldest daughter is grown she calls him her brother. He is very spoiled.I am always buying things for him, like I did my kids when they were little. He has so many toys and things to play with. When I take a vacation, he goes with me. I take him for rides in the car.He is my baby..

I have two cats Lucy and Molly and they are both very much a part of my family. They are both really wonderful but I must admit to being a little more attached to Lucy because I had to help deliver her. She tried to come out sideways and I had to push her straight. Her back legs didn't work for a long time and now if she runes they pull around to the front of her and she flips over. Her full name is Lucy Sidewalker Griner.

Yes, I too get very upset when my cat does not feel well, because we do not really know what is wrong with them.

I love my cat. right now, i'm homeless and living in motels and i have to drive far to see her. she is in my mother's backyard and garage , and when i get there i make sure she gets treats, creme, and i play with her and buy her toys. but she is very angry with me that it is taking so long to find a place to live. i may even move into my mother's garage to be with mavis for a while. and sleep on an airbed. she has a boyfriend next door named boris who steals her food, and they go out together. however, if it's between a human or another cat mavis likes her boyfriends.lol. i'm on my way to go there now. it's voting day today in calif. and i have to drive to that county. it's horrible to be displaced in your own country. mavis agrees.

Oh,I am very sorry that you are homeless, I hope you will find a home soon. this is happening to more and more people now days with the cost of living the way that it is. I will be praying for you!!I know that Mavis understands your situation, at least you have found her a good place to stay and are going to see about her when you can, and she does have that boyfriend to keep her company. Hope you and her will be together real soon. God Bless.

Yep! Bun Bun is a pepper-coloured Rabbit with little ears that point eagerly skyward when he's happy. My sister bought him as an Easter present for herself from the pet store several years ago. She often reminds us that he was the only rabbit (and I think the best) out of a litter. He lives at my parents house and when I come to visit I visit with him just as with anyone else (last week we watched a movie or two, lol) Sometimes he hops and runs around free. When he gets tired of this and wants to go back in his cage he hops in the little box my mom has set ut next to his cage. Pets are supposed to be amazing stress relief.

Yes, they are. I don't have to marry to have my 2 boys and baby girl. Their previous owners can't take care of them, either because they are too busy or because the dogs are too noisy. I personally love to see them running around chasing each other. They are like brothers and sister now.

Yes. My pets are a part of my family. I know other people in the house don't seem to share my opinion on this matter, but that's how I feel. I love my pets and buy them things when I can. It's not much but usually a little bit of a treat to keep them happy.

Blessed is a person who takes good care of their pets....They are a few people i know that should not be allowed to own a pet. They get a cute puppy pamper it with love and as soon as it grows up its tied in the back yard with a little dog house and only sees the owner when its feeding time. I kabe two dogs Jimie and Hendrix. They are like children. I love to take them for car rides, to the beach and where ever possible. Hendrix howls to the theme song of our local tv news. The only thing they dont do is talk and sometimes i think they are trying to..

My pets are treated like a family member. Its a bit harder to treat the barn cats like family as they tend to prefer to stay away from the house. My dogs have toys and all sorts of chewies. Dragon goes with me on car trips and to work but she doesnt go with me on vacation but she does go stay with my parents. I spoil her but...i also let her be a dog She's allowed to run and play and be outside on the farm..she has lots and lots of space. It does drive me nuts when she comes in smelling like cow pooh so she has regular baths.

I have one other dog, he lives outdoors all the time. He's supposedly "protection" on the farm from freaks and weirdos and wild critters but...He's so old and I've had him so long, He's family too. I'll be heartbroken when he passes As We got him just before i turned 9...I'll be 26 this summer. I make sure he gets soft food now as he's having a hard time with crunchies. He'd live inside too but every time he gets in the main area of the house for long, My eyes swell shut. Winter Time when its cold I bring him in and he has a bed downstairs to sleep in so he doesn't freeze.

We don't have any anymore but the ones we did over the years were absolutely part of the family. We treated just like they were family and loved them as such.

Hi to my new friend, sunkissed. ^^ My pet is like my brother. I have a dog named "Yoshii". He is white and fluffy. Hehe. He is cute and he never fails to make us smile when we need one. And so.. we love him and treat him well. Pets usually offer a good way of relaxation just by watching them. Their cute and silly antics usually draws a smile out from even the loneliest person. hehe. Was that an overstatement? Guess not. ^^

selece,Hello my new fiend..Your dog has a very beautiful name.No that was not an overstatement. I know exactly what you mean. I have a cat, he is gray & white, long haired, very fluffy too.He too brings so many smiles to my face. Just by petting them will make you relax, bring your pressure down.I live alone, he is my companion. He cheers me up when I feel down.He likes being hugged & kissed.

my pretty chesapeake - tinker, cheasapeake bay retriever
I would have to say that our dog is a part of the family not just a dog, well she doesn't think she's just a dog lol. She is very spoiled, my s/o used to tease me that you can't spoil a big dog lol But he was the one who went and bought her her first ice cream cone when she was a puppy, and he's the one who taught her to listen for the ice cream truck lol Although I do my fair share of spoiling her too, if I go out of town I always bring her back a prize, and she does know what 'plain cheeseburger' means lol My daughters are grown and one lives 1600 miles away and the other 300 miles away, so Tinker is my child now. My oldest daughter has two dogs and they know what she means when she asks them if they want to go see meemaw LOL

I wouldn't know.. I don't have a pet. SOmetimes I wish I had one, but then I think of all the added responsibility and I change my mind. I have enough on my plate as it is. I don't need to add anything else to it!

My puppy is like my daughter. She is super spoiled and I love her so much. Both my boyfriend and I treat her this way. She has tons of toys and she sleeps on the bed with us. Which is getting really difficult when she is starting to out weigh me. :) When we watch movies or TV she is sitting on the bed, or couch with us. Tagging along every where we go. Every dog we have will probably be just like this.
