Writing for a living

Hey, I've been contemplating making my existence by writing.. Any tips, ideas or a life experience??

My daughter has just started to write a book and so these tips and links are of great use. Have you had feed back from other areas that you could share here, ironclad?

Get started! The best tip for becoming a full time writer is to write. I started about two years ago and the more I learn the more I earn. You'll make some mistakes, but learn from them and keep writing. Good Luck!

Well, I only write for money. And I don't think that its a bad idea that you make your living off of writing - but for me to do that, I'd need lots of talent, time, and just ideas right of top of your head. You may have that potential and I don't. Go ahead and try it out!
