"I arranged this date"

Watching the Bachelorette, Deanna keeps saying "I arranged a carriage ride" or "I came up with this Helicopter ride". I also watched another dating show a little while ago where the guy always said "I planned this date". You know what, Deanna didn't plan these dates. Are you kidding me? Most normal people would not come up with these types of dates b/c they A) Can't afford it on their own and B) are not aware that you CAN do these types of things. I know the show arranges the dates and Deanna might have input but there's no way she has time to plan/arrange for these things. There's no way she has time to even come up with the ideas behind the date. What do you think? I'm sure the show tells her to say "I arranged this" so that it sounds like it's not forced romance, but it's so obvious it is forced. The show knows to have them stand high up on a platform right when the sun is setting. She doesn't know to do that. She doesn't know exactly when the sun sets in LA when she is from somewhere else.
