I got a noticed today that my rent is gonna be increased from $550 a month to $700 a mont...Whats up with this man.... life is getn more expensive! My job consists of working more hours, for less pay... Anyone else frustrated?

questionsnoanswers wellhop on the bandwagon here in Tustin Ca our last apart complex charged 700 and we had to move, this one now costs almost 1300 a month and we are not wealthy people. my son makes about nineteen dollars an hours. we are stretched to the limit as most everyone else is too.

It's very crazy whats going on now-a-days! How can regular people afford to live! It honestly does frustrate me that the law allows landlords to increase rent by so much... I mean in an apartment building we are paying for there morgage and giving them pocket money! Its way too much! I should just buy a house, would be cheaper morgage per month. If only i had good credit for a house loan HAHAHAHA.

Indeed the current inflation is hitting everyone hard, especially those who belong to the middle to lower income group people. However there are other ways to beat inflation. For example, you can try to buy things in bulk to cut cost or only shop during big sales period. For day to day life, try to cut down on usage on water and electricity. Take public transport and not taxi if possible.

Wow, I hate to hear that. That is a huge jump in rent. Are they planning on building something new at the complex or is that just normal rent increases?

They said they were gonna put in a new Furnace... There is nothing wrong with our furnace though! In my opinion they should be fixing or bathroom not our furnace... Our landlord used some cheap paint in the bathbroom and the paint is peeling off so bad cause they did not use the proper paint for a small humid bathroom. Not to mention the shower walls are begin to rot!!!! Its Crazy,but there really is not anything cheaper... Besides the bathroom the apartment is great!
