32/101 A show of hands, how many people here lives attached to their phone/cells? Come on, I know you're out there. I confess, I used to be. I say that lightly because my ex husband decided that he didn't need to be paying for my cell phone bill anymore and cut me off, no word or warning. But, the real question is what number do you find yourself calling the most? For me, it was my daughter. She was a near teen and I needed to know where she was, whom she was with and how long she was going to be out. Now that we are with just a land line, the number I call the most would be...no one, really.

I am always close to my mobile phone as I want to be able to hear it when someone is trying to contact me and I don't want anyone else going through my phone. The person that I call the most is my boyfriend, usually just to see if we are meeting up or just to talk to him. When we are at college we usually ring each other after each lesson to meet up, so that can be up to 5 calls a day then we might talk to each other for about 15 minutes over the phone on a night or when we are walking somewhere by yourselves and we are bored. They all clock up.

Now, I had call waiting when I had my cellphone, though it did me no good because I could never get the knack of it. More often than naught, I'd hang up on one or the other. Plus, I hated puting someone on hold. Boyfriends...a very important number to call and call often. Too bad I don't call mine that often, but I have my reasons.

I never feel the need to put people on hold as it is unlikely that two people will ring me at once and I don't even think my phone has the function to have two lines open at once.

It's always good to keep your family close...even if the only way you can converse with them is through the phone. Thank you Alexander Graham Bell!
