Was listening to the local radio and they were doing a phone in about diets and good eating habits etc, these two women phoned in with there diet hints.... what do you think to them and would you try them?? DIET TIP 1 This lady is supposeling she has quite a big garden/plot of land so she has to live off this land(but in theroy she has to buy these foods from the shop) and not buy anything from the shops. so she eats eggs as she could have chickens, drinks cow's milk (not obvoiuosly she couldn't have a cow in her garden she would have a goat) Grow corn/wheat etc so she could make bread and cakes. Apple trees and other fruit trees and loads of salad and fruit. If you were rich or lucky you may have a small pond at the bottom so you could have a little bit of fish. Are you following me with this diet? Get the idea where it is going?? DIET TIP 2 This other woman was talking about dieting and she has made herself believe that if she eats anything unhealthy it will make her ill!! So everytime she looks at sweets cream cakes etc she has conditioned herself to believe that things like this will really make her ill!! What do you think to that one?? look forward to you getting back to me with your views. Anne18

That was interesting. The first one, with summer here, we grow our own food, and so practice this a lot but still by meats etc. The second one, I think it could work. I thought about telling myself I had gastric bypass.

I think both of those are pretty cool. But I think the first one is the wisest. She's eating all natural, at least as natural as she can. I believe with everything in me if people would eat with some common sence, we wouldn't be so over weight. She's eating things that God has created and it doesn't have much of mans handywork in it. I think it's real smart.

well the first one just would not work for me or anyone in a big city, but the second one, that makes a lot of sense, in psychology it is called aversion therapy.
