Do you have more than 1 Mail ID??

Hi friends, how many E-mail IDs do you have..??
Whether the more than one mail id is needed..?? is this necessary..
If you are in office, If they will provide you the mail id at office suffix means, there is a possibility for having the another email id..
But i heard that some of the people are holding the mail Id in all the e-maill providers like yahoo, rediff, hotmail, g-mail and etc.. etc.. some others also..
Do you think that is this much of E-mail is really required.. and also is this possibile to maintain the same..? will they check those all the E-mail ids regularly.. and also whether they receive the mail (important) in all their mail ids??
Because i have one for my personnal mail id in Gmail, and other one is my office Id, in my office id, i will get only the office communications. the other one is for my personnal mails like couple of our relations at abroad, they use to send the mails.. and my mylot alerts will come to my G-mail id..
I was really suprised about the people are having more e-mail ids.. and its maintenances..

I have 6 email accounts. A bit excessive i know, but each one serves a purpose. One i use purely for internet shopping, because i buy a lot over the net & you end up with so many emails.
I have one just for really important things. One for friends to contact me. One for my email subscriptions. One for yahoo so i can use the features. And a couple more.
I do check them all most days. It just seems easier to organise things or else my email gets flooded with spam etc.

I keep more than one mail id. Naturally I have a work id where all my business mail comes. I find it useful to have more than one address as it helps to separate out responses. If I use a traffic exchange or online program I know it will gnerate a lot of spam mail so I keep a separate account so I can just bulk delete the responses and spam.

So, you are getting more unwanted mails daily.. to identified those you have a separate Id?? right..
This is also a best idea..

i have a gmail account, which is my primary email account. i also have one msn, but rarely use it coz i only signed up for it for me to use my msn messenger hehe. i have 2 yahoo accounts, one is used for my yahoo messenger and the other one is used whenever i sign up for things on the internet and things like that.

I keep couples of mail id, about 7 or 8, i don't know, i didn't count it.But each id has special use. One is my personal maibox.This is only for my friends and classmates. One is for my job,such as email from mylot or other website i have joined in. One is for my study. Usually i use this mailbox to keep some ppt or some notes from my professors.And I seldom use the other mail id. I won't check every mail id everyday. Usually i only check my personal id everyday.

I have 3 ids for personal mail. (hotmail, yahoo, gmail).
I have 1 ids for money-related mail.
And I have 1 ids from my organization.
So, I have totally 5 ids.

i do keep more than one email id becuase of many other purpose.
I use yahoo mail for most of my pesonal purpose because that i have distributed everywhere.
keeping more than one id is very much required to solve security problem until you remember the password of all your id.
If you have more than one id then it become more difficult to maintain but it helps you when some website does not support one such email id then you need to have another alternative email id.
You will find that almost many places people will ask for another id so that they will contact you anyhow.

yes i have more than one id, when i was small girl i created one id just to know how it actually works in yahoo then i created another one for distributing to friends and then i created some ids in gmail too... but all my friends have my number rather than contacting me through mails they will make a call or i have one mail id which i check everyday so they will send important mails to it...

I have 3 but I was thinking a little while ago about deleting the other 2 b/c I barely have enough time to check this email. I am sure my other accounts have close to 1k emails since I can never check them.

Hi There,
I must admit that I do have a number of email Id's. I tend to use them for different things. I have one I use strictly for work. No personal stuff goes to that one. I also have one I have for family matters that everyone can share. Lastly, I have one for stuff I do on the internet, whether it be for signing up for things, discussion boards and that type of thing.

I have more than one email ID. I use one for my current job, one to connect with my friends and on for both. I can say that all of my current emails are necessary, I just let my other emails before to close because I'm not opening those anymore. I usually open my current emails everyday. So far I can tolerate some spams that I receive in two of my emails.

i used 3 email ID's here of course one by one, i make this because sometimes we encounter problems on our notification, it can only resolve if you used another email address, i experience this 2 times already. i use my msn, yahoo and slashmymail.com, i used another email for my paypal and alertpay and different email for my offline business. i am more secure if i used different emails.

I think most people have more than 1 email address... I personally have 4... My phone has an email address on it's own, 2 aol, 1 for personal, 1 for work, & 1 yahoo for all the other junk mails stuff... Usually when I sign up for things on internet, I sign up with yahoo... If I notice I don't get junk mails from them... Few websites I use 1 made for work from aol...

I have several. Now I have three hotmail accounts. One for personal stuff for friends and family. I have an extra one that only two peeople know. I use it when I chat on msn. On my regular one it is impossible to chat without many people talking to me at the same time. It stresses me out. Then I have one that goes with my blog. It is my secret blog and i do not want everyone to know who i am when i write or respond to other bloggers.
Then I have my mail email with my broadband provider for most everything. It is the one that I use the most. I will check them all daily. it is quick to do.

i actually have quite a few emails. one is my work email which i use for work related stuff only. one is my yahoo account which i use for almost every other thing. there's another one that i use mainly for registering with forums. the last one is for websites that requires email account. i prefer not to use my main account as i don't really like receiving spam mail. cheers.

I have always only ever had two email addresses at one time - my personal email, and my work email.
However, I know people that have several email addresses, which they use for different purposes.
I have a friend who works from home, and she has one email address for her freelance writing, one for her ebay business, one for surveys/competitions and then a general email address.
I personally couldn't be bothered maintaining so many different email addresses, but this system works for her.

yes I have more than one email id, one is my office id where comes all official mails & another I have 6 mail ids. like rediffmail, yahoomail, gmail, india.com, lycos.com & hotmail. I use all ids. mostly use gmail & hotmail.

YES ...I HAVE 4 email account.it is yahoo,gmail,hotmail,and mailmate.but the email that usually use is yahoo because of it friendly user,updated daily,save and more secure than other email account.

I have 3 different email ids and they are all very different. One is for school and includes my name. My personal account that I use for work(freelancer) and friends includes my name in the address so that it is professional. I have a third account with MSN that does not include my name in the address in the address so this is the one that I use when I do not want my full name disclosed.
