Well, I absolutely love my new juicer. I have made several of the recipes my friends gave me. I even came up with a few of my own messes, but they are all very good and surprisingly filling. Thanks to everyone who gave me such great ideas! Now I need to know,,,What the heck can I do with all that pulp? I heard I can save it, and make muffins with it. I think that's a terrific idea - so - does anyone have any ideas or recipes to make pulp muffins? I hate to just throw it all out.....

Do you have any carrot pulp, cause that would go perfectly into a carrot cake. Or, at least I think it would. I love carrot cake, but I do understand that it's not for everyone. Especially carrot cakes with walnuts! Yummy! You might give that a try. I'm sure muffins would also be a great place to use all the extra pulp. I'm happy to hear that your juicer is working fine now. I'm always afraid of those things, that maybe it won't work. That's why I haven't bought one yet. Be well.

Carrot Cake - thanks beautyqueen. I love carrot cake with walnuts (and raisins). I didn't buy mine. It was given to me, but after having it for a week or so now and trying different recipes, I'm leaving it on my counter to use as often as I can. Strange enough, I feel healthier and my husband and I really are enjoying the flavor and texture of the drinks we've made, not to mention the health aspects of it.

You can use a regular carrot cake or muffin recipe and incorporate the carrot pulp in. If you use beets then add a bit of it,you can also use the pulp in soups also.

Thanks mizcash. I'm putting your suggestion into my juicing recipe book.

Juices are such a great and economical way of upping the body's nutritional intake. The pulp can also be used in soups, stews, casseroles ... just about anything you can think of that needs a bit of flavour/texture. Of course, you could compost it if you have facilities for that. Alternately, try selling it on ebay (joke).

Hey Winter, I like the ebay thing. Joke or not. I wonder how many people will bid on it? LOL

More than we want to know about??? Scary thought that someone would actually bid. I did see a TV news report last year about someone who listed a snowbank on ebay ... and got bids on in!!! A snowbank ... how do you ship that? Even if it didn't melt before the ebay bidding closed?
