how to identify a prime number give examples

if we divided a number by 2,3,5,7,9 and the number is not divisable than is it a prime number

Prime number is a number which is divisible by 1 and itself....... 9 is not a prime number prime numbers are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31...etc...
