How much exercise does a dog need?

How long is a ball of string?There is no one answer to how much exercise a dog needs simply because there is so much variety intemperaments, sizes, ages, lifestyles, and owners. Dogs thrive on mental and physical stimulation. If they experience the pleasures of hours of daily activity early in life, this is what their minds and bodies will continue to need. That’s what’s so marvelous about dogs. They are extraordinarily flexible in their needs. There are minimums, however. I feel a healthy dog needs at the very least an hour of activity each day.
