Where under heavens name is the gas prices going...oh my goodness I filled my tank this morning and it cost me 60.00, I thought I was going to pass out. In the last month or so I would only half my tank but today I decided to fill it up. I think I am going to by a bike and start biking it around town.

I agree with you. Gas price going up like stock moving. If we in a racing compitition I think gas price will win. Won't you agree? lol

I know a lot of people who bike it. Some people have done it for years. How much is gas in your area? I filled up the other day it cost me about $35.

well your idea is not so bad, actually a co-worker of mine has done just this and another co-worker has dusted off his bike to drive to work (he doesnt live that far away) as for me, i take the bus to work and since i walk with a quad cane, i get to ride it for free! (not a bad deal) but there are alternatives to a car!

From experience, might I suggest an E-Bike? I've owned one over a year now,and I've made the purchase price back from what I would have paid in taxi fares long ago,and that's only taking it out in dry weather!(Here in Ireland, you get lots of wet weather!) In the UK,an ebike is "limited" so that legally,it's not classified as a motorbike-You don't need to road tax or insure it (you can cover it under household contents if you want) it doesn't need an annual inspection..You do have to be over 14 to ride one,and a cycle helmet is recommended but not essential..They're designed to push you along at 15mph on the flat, but on the mountain bike types and others with gears, you can pedal as fast as you're capable of doing..Also,You'll lose weight! My car, with normal comuting and a weekly shopping trip, needs filled every 2 weeks..I filled the car at the end of April,Made the most of a very Dry Month of May and took the bike to work most days, and I only filled it for the first time since April LAST NIGHT! A Month without a fillup...btw,my Tankful was £40...($78.60)
