Flies, flies, flies

flies - keeping the house flies out.

The worst insect of all insects that my husband hates is the flies. he is contantly complaining about the flies in the house, even if its only one. when he sees one him and the kids are on a mission with their fly swatter. LOL I don't know how to keep them away. I have tried those fly strips. they don't always seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas to keep the flies to a minimum?? thank you.

No. I usually will tell my kids not to keep the door wide open when company comes over, as they have a very tendency to do this. This gives flies a chance to come into the house. I hate it. It gets on my nerves. This is the summertime for you....

i think you should use spray on that. i hate flies too and i'm glad that the house i am living doesn't have flies around.

Be careful about standing water, and trash and food left outside and inside that could attract flies. I am not sure if the fly paper helps much, but I would not know.
