I do not think so. Sad but true.... Would I rather have a junior senator or a life long politician. Me. John all the the way. The world is to tough right now. Has Obama ever left the country????? Only 10% of us have passports, does he have one... Why has he not visited Iraq. Are our troops going to fight for a leader that doesn't reconize them.... 1 or 2 more elections and maybe we will be ready for him... Do not want to b racist, but we need experience at this moment. Why did the US (today) increase security on visitors from Europe?

I just can't see how after Bush has ran things that we will elect someone who keep things going the exact same as they are. I do think that we will elect Obama and I'm very glad. I've read about his policies and things he wants to do and I am all for it. We need serious change if we want to stay a world leader. I think its sad that we are going to go to another country and try to "fix" them when we ourselves are having such terrible times. We need to work on our own country before we can try to work on someone else's.

I have lived in France for 6 years and Europe for a total of 10 yaers. Bush is a joke here. I like him though. He is more down to earth than most politicians. Could he have help you all from the economy right now? The ethanol policy is shitte. Taking food from hungry people. He has started increasing the national fuel supply, but congress just stopped that. I do not know... I will vote for Mcain from 5000 miles away..He is speaking right now from Kenner, LA. much better than a closet muslim..... It all depends on the people behind you.... Like I say, I'm in Europe, maybe once every 6 months I here the VP's name. Is he still alive? He shot somebody a while ago. Jay Leno still jokes about it.... I am sorry, but it has to continue this way....

Of course he has a passport and of course he HAS visited Iraq, it's just been about two years ago. What good does "experience" do when, as in McCain's case, one lies about our progress and even the number of troops in Iraq, doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shiite, in fact mixed them up four times in as many days, and makes jokes about bombing Iran. God help us if McCain gets elected, and I don't believe in mixing politics with religion! Annie

I believe the same thing about religion and politics. Here in France, they take so many Catholic holidays; the banks are closed, the post is closed, the government is closed. How is that the seperation of church and state? If your Muslim or Baptist or Atheist, you can not work, go to the store(shopping), anything on the 15 or so Catholic holidays they celibrate here.. You can not even work in your yard in certain villages on these days.

I don't understand why race is such an issue. This is not what the democratic process is all about, and frankly I think that we should have a non white president. Look at the current state of the country. We are in a time of moral decay and quite frankly our country has strayed away from all the principals it was founded on. I grew up in the South, so I know what racism is and it's apparent that it will never go away. As long as there is ignorance, there will be a taboo of race. Plus, all the white presidents did a pretty good job, until recently, so I think it's time for change. Change we can believe in. (not supported by Barack Obama or any of his Affiliates.
