Kinder or Nursery?

I'm stuck! I need your advise. My daugheter is turning four next week. She has been assesed by two different schools. Divine Angels is in its first year of operations, the facilities are great, very new (duh!), the teachers are friendly, the curriculum is based on active learning, and alot of activities? The other school is Faith School which is 23 years old, and the curriculum is based on a a science school so its really rigid, the teachers are older and more strict, the facilities are older too. I can't decide what school is better, the more ridgid old fashioned school or the modern day school with new curriculum? What is more important? The Divine Angels cost twice that of Faith, and my daughter seems to love Angels more. What should I do? What do I need to take into consideration?

friendly teachers for 4 years old is the good way i think. i might choose Divine Angels as well. But then again, in your 2nd to the last sentence, you've mention the tuition fee, am i right? if you are out of budget with its doubled cost compared to the other school. then go to the other one, Faith School. As you've said, just to boost you a little. they're now in 23 years so do you think that they're aren't good at all? peace :)

I'm not a professional speaker on this type of issue. But, As a school custodian at an elementary school. I would say the angels. Why? First It is modernized and up too codes with local and state level requirements more than likely. Meaning they know exactly what is needed to help them to get ready to forward to kinder garden. And would I suppose would be a little less strict or harsh. Just an opinion-From a father of two teens an also a child author

You have quite a predicament here... but if i were in your shoes... since your child is only 4 years old... i think Divine Angels will be perfect... i don't think a rigid and strict environment is suitable for kids who are just starting to go to school... So for now... Divine Angels... but in the future... when you baby is a lot older... i will go for Faith School...

I would take your child into consideration, her personality, what she likes, where you think she will do her best. Different children excel in different environments. I don't know what your education system is like compared to ours here in the USA. Perhaps your school systems are more rigid than ours in which I might lean toward a more rigid start, but if it is like ours I would really take my child's personality into consideration. My daughter is 12. I have a great-nephew who is 6 weeks younger than her. My daughter likes school and is a good student. I rarely even have to ask if she has homework because she knows to do it. I would feel comfortable putting her in a less rigid environment. My great-nephew, he needs a firm hand. He's a good boy, just needs that extra firmness to do what he has to do. For him I would probably lean toward a more rigid system. You could see the difference between their personalities as young as 3. Good luck with your tough choice. The fact that you are so worried about making the right choices shows how much you care so I am sure whatever you choose your child will do great.
