Hi myLotters I've recently switched from my long-time Internet Explorer browser to Firefox! And I can see the improvement already. It is a much faster and sophisticated - yet simple browsing experience. I also think Firefox has added security features which I believe to be true. One thing I see is that Firefox has a ton of nice add-ons; this is a plus! I don't wanna go add-on crazy and choose EVERYTHING Lol... so I'm just wondering what is your favorite Firefox add-on(s) and why? Thanks!-)

My two favourite extensions are one that shows the weather in the bottom right of my toolbar, above the computer clock... and also one that makes it where you can open websites in an Internet Explorer tab within Firefox. I do some web design and need to make sure the sites work in both browsers so it's very helpful. :)

Might have to try that IE/Firefox tab. Seems very useful.

I added on Firefox yesterday and what a difference...a big improvement over IE..I am not aware of add ons...but then I haven't been looking for them...my IP tech walked me through setting up FF over the phone but what is strange is that I now have both IE and FF, I'm thinking...why can't I just have FF for my everything, can it be done?...is it possible? I compare IE to FF like traveling a long distance by an old time slow moving car (that being IE) to flying in a jet....

hello, yeah I quite agree with you, for me Firefox is much better than Internet Explorer. It's really easy to used and yes has a loads of add-ons. Anyways, my favorite add-ons are delicious bookmarks and yahoo toolbar. It was very handy to used and these are quite accessible. I really like it. Also on Firefox you can manage the search engine add some so that you can easily used it like wikipedia and merriam webster.

My favorite add-on is NoScript because it blocks all the garbage that usually comes with surfing. When you get to a page that you want to let scripts run you simply allow it in the bottom right hand corner and it shows them. It keeps so much junk off my computer and helps to deter viruses. It also make surfing faster because you do not have all the junk running in the background that you normally have. I would highly recommend NoScript to anybody that uses Firefox.

I don't use too many of the addons. The one that i always use no matter what is no script. Its a really good way to keep you safe cause it doesn't allow javascript to run on a site unless you specifically allow that particular site.

I use only one extension and is "FlashGot". With this extension i can use my favourites downloads manager without problem. Actually i use "FlashGet" to manage my downloads.
