Sandra Boynton books! My "toddler" is 17 and almost 18 and she STILL has them! We are going to read them to HER kids when the time comes! They are cardboard, small, easy to hold, short sentences, lots of fun characters, and just adorable! I read one to her so much I still know it by heart: A cow says MOO A sheep says BAA 3 singing pigs say, LA, LA, LA No, no, you say, that isn't right The pigs say OINK all day and night Rhinocerouses snort and snuff and little dogs go ruff, ruff, ruff some other dogs go bow, wow, wow cats and kittens say, MEOW quack says the duck a horse says NEIGH it's quiet now, what do YOU say?
