I just can't believe we are not in the middle of a horrific nightmare and just can't wake up! As much as I can't stand Hillary Clinton or her husband, if it were a choice of her or Obama there would be no choice whatsoever; it would be Hillary hands down! That said, here is another tid-bit about our "presumptive" democratic nominee:

At this point I dont think it makes much difference what we see or hear as all the Obamaites are obviously deaf, dumb and blind to all the warning signs.

Strong connections to racists and muslims. As your comment was addresses to my response you must be referring to me as one of the you alls.. I am not a republican but the only way I would even consider voting for Obama is if Hillary is his VP.

whiteheather39, what "warning signs" about Obama? That he's going to 'change' the United States of America for the better?!? Wow, I can't wait!! Btw people, I did not want Barack Obama to win only because I felt he wasn't tough enough to handle our enemies as our commander-in-chief. I felt instead that John McCain would be able to handle our enemies as our commander-in-chief because he knows the true danger these enemies are to our democratic country. And I was going to vote for McCain because he's tough and Obama seemed too wimpish. But lots of you have changed my mind... there is no way I'm voting Republican now. All Republicans ATTACK when they do not agree with the other person. I hate bullies, and bullies are exactly what you'all sound like.

You would choose Hillary over Obama, why? I do not understand how you can tell them apart. As far as I can see it one Socialist won, one Socialist lost, and another Socialist to come. Yes it is a gaint nightmare but it will just get bigger.

Gewcew,
That was an unrealistic hypothetical situation! I can't even say the name Clinton without wanting to barf but it's even worse when it comes to Obama!

In spite of all of the evidence to the contrary, both Obama AND his supporters insist that he has no Muslim ties and is not himself a Muslim.
This is spite of the FACT that he attended a Muslim school while he lived in Kenya.
The fact that he is giving his cousin so much support is especially troubling since it goes against everything that he claims to be about.
Also troubling is the fact that so many Muslims support his run for president and saying he is the one they would find easiest to deal with.
There is nothing good about Obama being the nominee, and everything to suggest that the change he represents will be a change for the worse in America.
The good ting is that there is ample time for all of the dirt to be exposed, and it is up to the voters to determine what they really want for the future of our country.
The liberals have really gotten themselves into a mess over this, and as bad as Hillary would have been, this may prove to be disastrous for them.
At least I hope so.

I know what Obama stands for, but you obviously do not, nor do you care.
I find it quite interesting that you are so eager to dismiss anything possibly negative about Obama... what is it that you are so afraid of?
I would rather find this out now instead of waiting until after the election and find Sharia Law to be the law of the land by Executive Order.
If nothing is there, then we will find that out.
If however, something IS there... then we need to find it out and act on it before it is too late.
Now then... what is YOUR purpose in this response to my comment?... because I didn't see any particular point in it.

My purpose: debunking your (and others) paranoia and willingness to believe any nonsense that demonizes a Social Democrat.
You're all sounding like the conspiracy theorists that would have us believe Bush planned 9/11. It would be almost funny if wasn't so sad.

Funny that based on his attendance of a Black Christian church for 20 years he is accused of being unavoidably brainwashed by the racism of its pastor, but can still be considered as non-Christian. Are we really saying now that an Obama presidency means Sharia law, if not burning Christians alive? Come on.
As you say, there's time for the truth to come out, such as it is. But hopefully this election won't be governed by fear, innuendo and division (to quote from Obama's speech yesterday).

I tend to agree with you as well, Mare. The candidates are just not very good at all.
I will vote for McCain as I am a Republican and conservative. He was not my choice at all for the Republican nomination. I was rooting for Mike Huckabee! Maybe another time!

It looks like the American people have made their choice. Either one is pretty scary in my opinion. I am not sure that the Republican Nominee is going to do America right either though. I guess we will have to choose the worst of the evils. I feel that this voting season has been nothing more than disappointing. I never thought that America would vote in a man with ties to the religious beliefs that caused so much havoc on 9-11. Americans are holding true as of late, they never cease to amaze me.

I almost wasn't going to respond to this discussion but after reading everyone's comments on here, I am truly saddened and heartbroken because everyone here sounds like a bunch of racists. Unbelievable! I cried such tears of JOY when it was announced that Barack Obama had won the Democratic nonimation that you all brought me down. It is definitely a historic moment in America's history having Obama possibily become our next President! But, unfortunately, there are still such cynics and racists who are against Obama winning. I assure you he is not Muslim but Christian instead. But even if he was Muslim, what does religion have to do with being America's president??? What are you'all so afraid of?!? Please! If anything Obama would help ALL Americans obtain a better life. Oh that's right, you'all would rather have a white male as our president, even though those men have all screwed up the United States royally. Truly sad to read these comments when I was ecstatic that Barack Obama won! Although I voted for Hillary and wanted her to win, I am so proud of Obama for clinching it. He and Hillary put up a great fight to get where they are today. Please do read about America's history... our Founding Fathers (white men, mind you) once considered both Women and African-Americans as 'property.' We have all come a long way, baby! Thank you God. Amen. And God bless America!

Rckayla,
What is really sad is how much you and the rest of the American Obamites have let this modern-day pied-piper lead you into blissful ignorance by his golden tongue! He promises change, but won't tell you what it is he will change. I'm afraid you and millions of others will be saddly dissappointed if he is elected. The real sad part is the rest of us who tried to warn you will have to live with it too!

You don't think you Obama haters sound alike? You're basically just repeating the same line, concocted by right wing media.
I don't think all those opposing Obama are racists. But this guff that tries to spread fear of white enslavement, burning christians, is racist. Or at least is aimed to appeal to racists, or just the very weak in mind.
God Bless Martin Luther King, and the many others that have worked, and risked their lives, to fix the mistakes made by the Founding Fathers.

my gosh !! what will happen to america if obama wins in the election?
it will be a hell out of riot and restrictions! well that is my assumption upon reading this links...how come it was not included in the opponents campaign and what about the media?i guess senator clinton is really a professional one and matured enough to handle the position since she really campaign for her agenda only not on making other candidate divulge their weaknesses in order to win...

It's a good point, Vanities. Why haven't Hillary or McCain used these damning stories in their campaigns? If there was any substance to them. Which goes to show there isn't. They'd be laughed at.

You might want to check your facts before attacking a U.S. Senator. There has been so much negativism in this campaign that people are speaking untruths as if they are true and no one confronts them.
Check this one out: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/kenya.asp

i agree...obama is scary....it all is! I wish america would wake up but as time passes, it does look as tho we are going to let him win this election hands down. I don't get it at all. I am not fond of hilary or mcCain but either would be acceptable at this stage. Obama is down right scary I think. I was all for john edwards and then he dropped out. Curiously, he came back in support for obama which really stumped me. This whole election is very odd.

For me, the only saving grace about Obama being elected is that McCain has a much better chance of getting in.
Obama claims he will offer change, but doesn't say how. If you delve into his web site there is some hint. He thinks anyone making over $65,000 needs to be taxed higher. Thanks a bunch, guy.
For any of the changes proposed by Democrats, each of us will pay higher taxes. Oh well.
I found a quote today by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I wish I could cut and paste, but I haven't posted enough to have that priviledge.
King said, "Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away at its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's set of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true."
This statement makes me wonder about how a man could attend a church for 20+ years where hate was spewed every Sunday and not have some of that hate rub off. And then I have to wonder about that man's objectivity. Just food for thought.
And, no, I'm not a racist. I attend a church every Sunday where we're taught that God loves us all. No matter how we look on the outside, God knows our hearts. And because we're striving to be more like Him, that's how we're supposed to see people as well.
