thyroid surgery

A friend of mine had it done a few months ago. It helped her get her energy back but now she has to take a pill for the rest of her life. I really don't know if there is a way around taking a pill. I will say that she has said she feels a lot better now. The first few months are hard because they are trying to adjust your medicine to work with your body. She got all her thyroid out but my Grandma only had part of hers out. Good luck in whatever you decide!!
