Is it completely safe to use your CC on the internet. Having so much about hacking and frauds i have never used my Credit card on the internet. I know that there are so many people using this today but still there is some kind of hitch that holds me back from using it share your experiences

I use my card on the net on a fairly regular basis. Many sites are so encrypted that is very hard to steal CC info. CC fraud online was a major problem a few years ago, not so much now. Most hackers have moved on to idetnity theft, which you can only protect yourself so much from.

The principles of banking and fincial instituitions stipultae that if you lose your money without you providing the details, then the cc company must refund you. based on those principles alone, I have no problem using my CC on the internet. The CC companies have comprehensive insurances to cover your butt. Go ahead, let us go shopping.
