reggae is a really chilled out sort of music. its one of them types of music that you can chill out too and just sit in silent and listen. if your tired it does help you sleep i must agree =P

Do you have a link with Jamaica music. There are alot of successful bands that are successful in Reggae just as bob marley and the wailers. There are also solo acts who are as well like. Do you know about Beres Hammond, Peter Tosh, Bob Andy, Dennis Brown, Taurus Riley and his father etc. I think you need to get more involve with Reggae Music before you can say what you said. Just go the stores on line and ask.

Reggae music feeds my soul mon...Because you are asking for some suggestions, I would strongly recommend you listen to Majek Fashek especially his "Promised Land" track. Alpha Blondy's an ultimate listening pleasure too. There's a lot of Alpha Blondy songs who can really induce sleep like Jerusalem, Papa Bakoye, (Wari Bana) and Cocody Rock just to name a few. Another reggae artist worth listening to is Lucky Dube...Im sure there's still a lot of reggae bands that you can take into consideration. Well, I'm leaving you some for your own exploration, Israel Vibration, Culture, Gladiators, Blach Uhuru, Burning Spear, Steel Pulse and you can try Asia's number one reggae band Tropical Depression. Listen to their song "Ala-ala" ("memories" in English) as well as another Filipino band "Indio i", their "Diwata (Fairy)" and "Di mo lang Alam (If You Only Knew)" tracks are a must hear songs. You can catch me in my IM if you'd like to have some samples of that songs. Irie!.....
