Be delayed until we have had the chance to vote on it in November. This is a major decision for California and the entire world. It will ultimately affect every one in one way or another. From anything to wanting to move out of the state or coutry to disowning family members or whatever.
I do not think that this is something that they should pass without everyone having a chance to vote. After all, no matter how you slice, dice, or puree it, it is the legalizing of sin.

this is a big issue and here in the UK cival partnerships are now legal i dont personally think there is anything wrong with 2 people comitting to each other, whatever the gender, however the civil partnership is not actually 'marraige' here in the uk you are not allowed to marry in the church, but are allowed to enter into a cival partnership which by law entitles you to the same rights as a married couple.
