If you have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or know anyone who has then you need to read this with a keen eye. This breed of dog has been reported as the most stolen dog in the UK. They are then likely to get abandoned as the dogs are friendly dogs and that looks bad against the peope who steal them.The dog has also become known as the yob dog because it has suddenly become common with hoodie youths who see this breed as a fashion accessory. This has given the staffie a bad name and it has lost its appeal as a family pet. Battersea Dogs home housed nearly 3000 Staffies last year, and that breed accounted for a third of all the abandoned dogs that they cared for last year! Its very sad, as to why people want to steal other people's pets. I don't own a dog, hope to some day soon, but I would be so upset if anything happened to my cat or kitten
