Do you like your co-workers?

I work in a small company. I really like my boss and the other woman that works here. In the past year our boss has been trying to hire a replacement for his job doing service calls. So far he has tried 3 different people...all three were guys and none of them were the right fit..in fact two of them i downright hated. One was fired, one quit because he hated doing service calls, the other moved to Nova Scotia.
When they were interviewed and hired the other woman and I didnt like them at all. We disliked them more as the month or time went on. Today our boss has hired someone new. This time when we met her we instantly took a liking to her. Shes been in 3 or 4 times since applying (today was offered the position) and we've liked her more each time.
I'm aware that coworkers if you dont like them can make work suck..and if you do make it a blast.
Do you like the people you work with? If you dont....how do you deal with it?

I am fairly new at my job. I have been there about 5 months and there is only about 18 of us. Everyone was so nice when I started and have all been very helpful. Everyone gets along pretty well and there is really no one that I dislike. I get along with everyone and have made close friends with a couple of the girls.

It really matters whom we worked with. I had work before in a prestigious company and I am well paid. But I didn't like some people around there coz they were kinda bossy and sometimes they talked against my back which later i knew coz I have lot of friends warned me to be very careful with people whom I trust. As long as I know what am doing was only the best for my job...i never care about that but i quit after a year, coz another company offered me an opportunity that I cant say no. I agree that a good job is not about only you but also considered the environment of the office and attitude of your officemates. You do not have to consider one part of it but it should be as a whole.
