I only respond to discussions that interest me. Moreover, I respond to discussions that I understand and have a knowledge on. From time to time, I respond to discussions where the author is asking for advice or help. I do not really mind reading long discussions.

Hi antony2best! I also don't respond to some discussions because sometimes I really don't have anything to contribute and I really know nothing about the topic. I only respond to topics that I have at least an idea of what the topic is about and that i find it interesting. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

It is possible that you have the check box regarding mature content checked in your profile settings and the system is preventing you from responding. But I was under the impression that that check box would also prevent you from viewing those discussions.

well, I replied to topics I find it interesting for me to discuss. I don't dwell on those I could not understand what they are talking about. Sometimes, when the topic I am interested in has a lot of responses, I will skip on them because it will take time for me to read all the replies before I can post mine so that's what I do. I find it easy to go to the Zero reply section and start to look for interesting topics and there I will start to reply.
