Everyone has a favorite author that they love to read. I have quite a few, but my biggest favorite author is Nora Roberts. I collect all of her older books and try to keep up with her current novels. Do you have a favorite author and have you had the chance to have a book signed by that author? DO you go out of your way to collect the books? DCMerkle

I read too many books to keep up with all the authors, but if I glance at my bookshelf right now, I see a lot of...George Orwell. That makes sense since I'm very fond of what he's written. I don't really go out of my way to collect the books since my friends and family often get the books for me since they know my likes and dislikes.

I don't have a favorite author per se, just favorite books. But there are times when I loved one book so much, I try to read more of it's author's other books. I have read several of John Grisham, of course Dan Brown. Currently I'm into Isabel Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I read Isabel Allende's Eva Luna and looking into purchasing House of Spirits. As far as collecting them, I only keep the ones I really reall like and would care to read again someday.
