we are SO BROKE

I am having a hard time as well. I had to be on state assistance when it comes to health insurance because hospital bills pile up and I'm not disabled so I cannot get social security though I have cancer and can only work a certain amount of time a day. It's hard. But I have faith things will get better.

You could try getting a part time job that is 3-4 hours a day. I did that when I was younger. I also freelance write in my spare time to try to make some extra money. You could try Craigs List to see if there is anything on there that might help.

Boy do I understand - with day care costs a lot of people can't afford to work! When I had my daughter for me to work would have brought home 75 dollars a week after gas and day care. To us it wasn't even worth it. We got a break because my husband got a promotion and was switched to a regular same every week schedule. After that I was able to take on a job. Our solution is to never see each other but we have 2 incomes and our daughter isn't in day care. We are lucky enough to have his step mom here and she watches our daughter for the 2 hour over lap between our schedules. I work Monday through Friday 8 to 4 he works 6 days a week Sunday through Friday 3 to 11. He drops our daughter off at grams around 2 230 and I pick her up about 430. I am in bed before he gets home and he is asleep when I leave in the morning, we see each other on Saturdays and although it is hard its whats best for our daughter.

I feel for you, as I know it's very tough all over. We too, are just barely keeping our heads above water and having young children, just starting in school for a few hours a day makes it very hard. I make a little bit of extra money online and while it's not a significant amount, it does help pay a bill or two and buy some groceries. I know where you are coming from.I am even scared to answer the phone at my home thats how many people are breathing down our backs for money.What I try to do is pay out the bils for things that we need everyday for example:water and electricity.All of the other bills are not necessary other that the grocery shopping which I have been cutting back on and explainig to the kids that things are really tight right now.Maybe you can get another part time job that will help out.Other than that have you tried working online typing or doing surveys.some of those things pay well especialy if you are living in The United States.There seem to be all kind of opportunities for Americans.All the best andd I hope you can get all of your debts paid off quickly.God Blss.

Hey sanell, I don't really have advice, I am young and can't really offer advice but since you are from the USA many sites are easy to make money from for you. I hear alot of people from the USA talking about Cash Crate so may be you can check it out, I personally don't use it cause it doesn't seem beneficial for members fro my country. I got $52USD from a review writing website the other day, so you can check that out. I really don't know what else you can try. Look for some sites that pays in pounds maybe? I am experiencing the same situation. I work at a call center but my husband is jobless and I pay for everything, bills, gas, school, food, etc. With the crisis that came to our country I have to borrow money from people to support our needs and now I am overloaded with bills. I got my net at home cut off and my phone. I have received several letters from attorneys asking me to pay..I would if I can. I just don't worry about it much because the more you worry the more they will pile up. I am planning to get another full time job even if it kills my health since I already have a full time job at night. I need to because it will be the one to help me with everything. My husband is hopeless he doesn't want to look for a job and I already gave up on him. I am really alone in everything...but in all this I don't let these kind of things affect me. I just face each day bravely and each day God gives me blessings. School is coming up and I haven't even bought my kids school things, uniforms or shoes because I don't have money. One of my sister bought them some stuff but it ain't enough. I found this site though I would like to share to you in case you need anything it's called Freecycle just search for it. I recently placed there a post and told them I need school shoes for my kids and uniforms and books, etc. This Pastor emailed me and said he was touched by my honesty. By the way, I have 5 kids. He told me to come pick up shoes for one of my kids who's 15 and we did and he gave my son around 6 shoes all usable and some are almost new and my son needed a leather shoes for school which I cannot buy and one of those shoes was a black leather one. I had my youngest daughter with me as well when we took the shoes and he gave her a brand new school bag. Earlier before I came to that site I was starting to worry about things for my kids school but I let it past. Now my kids are getting this stuffs from complete strangers who just wants to give their stuff out. I am so happy and I feel blessed. I may not have enough money but I have God on my side. I have read this quote on a big placard along the highway one day it said "God will find a way, when there seems to be no way". I had to copy that quote and keep it in mind. This morning I will go to another place to pick up some toys for my kids also given by a total stranger and another one on saturday. My husband also lost this sim card I have for my phone and yesterday we found it the one who found it will be giving it back to us on sunday. The other day as well after 8 days having no sales at work I said I wish I can have a sale after taking a walk outside our office and when I came up 2 orders came in for me. Such blessings are worth more than money. I am never hopeless. Have faith. And keep that quote intact. YOu might need it one day. Take care and God bless.. Yes I know exactly how you feel. My husband had lost his job 3 times in the past year due to layoffs. We are still playing catch up. I belong to a bunch of survey sites one of which you can earn about $2.50 a day just doing surveys on there. It is not a lot but after a while all those little pennies add up.
