Your partner did not speak a single word to you but only gave you a ring or a token of their affection for you to wear?
My fiance proposed to me TWICE. He didn't think the first time was proper, as he just asked me. I don't remember exactly when or where but I think we came into an agreement.
The SECOND time he proposed I was watching t.v. He was walking around looking for candles and sneaking them into our room. He even put our song on the c.d. player and he tricked me into coming in the room as he said he "rearranged" some things and he wanted my approval. When I walked in I saw Candles strung about the room and he took the c.d. controller from his pocket and turned the c.d. on when my back was turned toward him. He sat me down and proposed, his wording I don't remember but I know I said yes.

You are so lucky to have such a romantic man in your life. The man I am with now proposed to me by saying "I really need to get a divorce so we can get married." It wasn't romantic or anything, but it was good enough for me. Getting with him the best thing that has ever happened to me besides the birth of our daughter. That man is a keeper.

Sometimes it's not about the way a person has proposed, just like in your case. I am glad that you are happy with him. Thanks for responding to me, and thank you for the compliment to him. I do have to ask, by "That man is a keeper" are you referring to mine or your husband?

It was simply amongst the most cherishable moments of my life; Oh my god, it was just too beautiful those moments, unspoken silence, tiny sobs, ultimately came the whisper that I simply yearned to hear..
