What is the question that people frequently ask you?... do you give the same response?... or try to be creative by saying something different everytime it is asked?... or do you just keep quiet as to show that the question irritates you?... This is the question friends and family frequently ask me... Where have you been?... and to which i will truthfully answer them... but sometimes when i get tired of it... i will just say... somewhere... indicating that i am not in the mood for any conversation... So... what is your frequently asked question?...

Well, for Americans... "how are you?" is like the SOP greeting... i got a lot of that when i was working abroad... and the funny thing is that they don't even wait for the answer... well... that is just how it is... thanks for the response...

I agree with you, I wish people will learn more how to give significance and interest of that! Oftentimes, I will not ask them, I don't like the idea! Cheers!

That simple question already say that your parent indeed love and care for you very much... and it is good that you show appreciation by being truthful... i know of some who would sometimes answer in a sarcastic manner... and that is not nice... thanks for the response...

whats my name... so far is the frequently asked question for me. i am a singer and people always say they didnt catch my name. but the freguently asked question for me that i really hate answering is when i have to go to relatives they will ask me where is my sister? i have an older sister and in every relative gathering she is always absent. i am tired of answering the questions on where she is first i am not her baby sitter and we dont live in the same house. if i get really tired of answering i will just say that shes just there you just cant see her. lol

Being asked where your sister is all the time is quite irritating... like the same when people ask me where my husband is... everytime i go to a gathering without him... it is like people expect us to be always together... which is not the case... i hope people ask the same thing to your sister when you are not with her... thanks for the response...

there was a point where i was so tired of answering that question that i asked one of my cousin if they ask the same thing to my older sister and they say of course. what is funny is they know that we dont live in the same house so there is no reason for them to ask were is the other one, because sometimes i really dont know the answer. lol

Hello aseretdd, Before getting marriage, the FAQ would be - When are you getting married? Oh, God! I really hate the question. If I am in the mood, I will give a silly answer but if I don't, I will just answer it sarcastically. Lucky that after getting married, they didn't have a chance to ask me this question - When are you going to have baby?

I also used to get that question a lot... and i would always say "Never"... friends and relatives were afraid that i might end up an old maid since a lot of teachers do... but now that i am married... i am glad because i have a beautiful baby that i love with all my heart... thanks for the response...

By biggest pet peeve is when someone walks into a room and asks me "What are you doing?" Nine times out of ten I am doing something that is really obvious like watching tv or eating something. It just bugs me to no end. When people ask me that I usually just say whatever it is that I am doing although when I am not in a good mood I will just respond with a question "What does it look like I'm doing?"

I find that odd... some people asks me that too... it is so obvious that they can see what i am doing... but they still ask the question just the same... i guess... that is a way for them to start a conversation... but that can actually be too tiring... thanks for the response...

My frequently asked question would have to be do I know/am I related to such-and-such. Without revealing my last name, I will say that its somewhat popular in my region, just not common elsewhere. When anyone hears my last name, they always have another person they want to know do I know or am I related to. I am a jokester, and have noticed the look and pregnant pause that usually comes before a person will ask. My PAT response before they have a chance to say anything is "No I don't know such-and-such and I'm not sure if we are related." (They say that everyone in this region with my particular last name is related somehow) I've noticed that a lot of people are uncomfortable with asking this question, thinking they would offend a person. I feel my method gets them the information they desire, and also sets them at ease.

I know what you mean... my married name is quite common here in my area... so i also get that a lot... but when i tell them my maiden name... then they would realize that i am not at all related to the person they are thinking... can sometimes be tiring... but that is a part of it... thanks for the response...

I think some users usually ask me how to withdraw money from Paypal. Or they ask me whether Mylot is trustworthy to pay for us. I reply to them. As I was a new member before and I also had these doubts at that time. And I got a clear reply and therefore I have to answer others' doubts, too. I love China

I guess there is just something about me that makes people only ask appropriate questions, because I really cannot think of any that I get routinely I like most questions anyway, but hubby doesn't. He cannot stand "stupid" questions.

I sometimes find stupid questions fun or interesting... depending on who is asking... most of the time... i give them a stupid answer... maybe people are intimidated by you since you are quite eloquent... so they only ask appropriate questions... thanks for the response...

My question is why haven't you called and it's mainly asked by my family. My standard answer is that I have been busy working. Truth is, I don't want to talk to them half the time. LOL
