My first discussion

Hi guys, new to the site and just finding my feet so apologies if this is a bit wide of the mark. Anyways, what can i have for my first discussion, hmmm, tricky one, ok here is one that has always bugged me..... Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

WOW..never thought about that one before! Good question!..I'll try to give an answer although it probably isn't right..lol Glue doesn't stick to the inside of the bottle because air has to dry the glue to make it stick, so since the bottle is open for very short times it doesn't have time to dry on the inside of the bottle

wow, intelligent answer! I think ur right too, the adhesive properties of the glue only kick in when it reacts with air! I think! Good on ya! Thanks for the response.

Good question. I guess because it is plastic, and it mostly slides out. The same as ketchup. If you leave it open it will dry inside though

Welcome to mylot! Good question. Im sure it has something to do with the bottle being closed and air not getting to the glue:) enjoy your time on mylot!
