The effects of deployment on children

Hello, my son is 4 and my daughter is 8. They have both changed alot since there dad left. My 4 year old always gets mad at me and tells me that he wishes I would move to a new home so daddy can come home from Iraq, my 8 year old gets mad cause she wants to call daddy all the time. I actually had our daughter when he was deployed also. She was 3 months old before he saw her for the first time. When you husband calls are you putting the phone up to his ear so he can hear his daddy's voice? I know alot of people that do this.. I am sure he will want to go to him, it's almost like they know who there dad is. I was afraid like you for my daughter when she was a baby she cried everytime a guy would hold her, but the first time my husband held her she was wide awake just looking at him..
