I am a philatelist and a numismatist. My wife loves collecting bags. Whenever I go out of station or abroad, I make it a point to pick some newer type of bags. She even collects good paper bags (designer ones). Any hobby is good for hobbyists because it helps them to concentrate, dedicate and they can spend time happily.

ssh123 here you are again hehehe thanks so much.you always put a smile on my face with your nice comments back.seems like you are such a nice and understanding husband coz you even bought a bag for your wife and you even understand her hobby.my husband also like you but he is not tolerating me to buy bags without any ocassions thats what he said. i can buy bag like birthday or anniversarry. so thank you again for your nice cooperation.

Oh! Thanks for your showering of praises on me. Unlike in Europe or UK or Canada/USA, in India and in other Asian countries, handmade bags are very cheap, some of the shopping bags are avialable for as cheap as 0\50 cents and they are quite attractive. Some fancy bags may cost $2 or 3. Even for our standard of living, these items are damn cheap. Hence we can afford to buy them for loved ones. It is not only bags, for that matter except gold and jewellery, all things are chepaer than international prices.

I'm the same way 
with bags AND shoes! I think it's a sickness that most women have 
. Not only do I have too many that I bought myself but when my mother passed away in January I took all of hers and she was the same way...she had way too many bags and I didn't need them but I wanted them.
