I use a laptop most of the time. It is very convenient. I can even keep working in my bed too while relaxing. I have a Toshiba laptop. Works very well.

I use my laptop the most. I have a desktop that I use primarily for autosurfs and for downloading large files, and also when I need to use the scanner. It's setup as a print server, so I can print from anywhere in the house using the laptop. I'm on the sofa in the family room right now, but when I'm in the bedroom, I'll prop myself up in bed. My laptop is an Acer 5050-5430. It has an Athlon 64 X2, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, and 160 GB SATA hard drive. It also has built-in mic and swiveling webcam, so I can use it for video conferencing and even to take shots of PowerPoint slides in class. It came with Vista Home Premium, but I blasted the hard drive and installed XP Pro. It's very fast. I use it for everything, including working with audio and video.

That's an excellent laptop you have. I should have all the facilities like you have too. That would help me with my work. Thank you for your response.

I don't have a laptop but I really want one. It would be great to relax in bed with it instead of sitting at my desk.

I use laptop too. I have an Acer Aspire. I agree with you, it's really very convenient to use. I can bring it anywhere. And it consumes less space. You can use it anywhere you want too.

I have recently got an HP laptop. But presently I am not very comfortable using it, for the simple reason that I have been working on Desktop for a long time. But I feel its just a matter of time, Soon I will get used to with laptop.

I have a Toshiba laptop as well and it works just great. The only complaint that I have with using laptops is that I can not always pick up a wireless signal so it limits the activity I can do online. Sometimes there is no where to plug in either so I have to make sure that it is fully charged. I am probably going to look into buying a wireless card so that I can connect everywhere. It is amazing how much technology is present to today's world. It scares me sometimes.
