What happened with my yahoo mail!

I was still using the old version because I didn't like the latest update. I got on today and it looks different. Not just the main page but the emails themselves. It's driving me nuts! I don't like this! And the worst part of is...you know how every page is listed in the tray at the bottom of the screen? Well when I have an email open, it doesn't list "yahoo mail" like it used to. Now it says whatever the email is! So when I mylot and read my notifications at the same time, it gets hard to tell which is a mylot page and which is my mail! My whole system is thrown off. Anyone else having issues with the new format of the old version? I don't like the updated version but I don't like this either...

I hate anything changing on my computer. It throws me completely off and takes me forever to adjust to. My husband used to change things around all the time but he got tired of having to change it back so now he pretty much leaves it alone and when yahoo screws something up he tries to fix it back for me!

I wish I could figure out how to fix this! It only gives me the option of going to the new version...I don't like the new version, I just want the old version to be how it used to be! S/o has also learned to not mess with my computer. It took him a while to get it through his head that he broke his computer and if he wanted to be allowed to use mine, he could not change anything or add anything to it that I didn't want on here! His son was told the rules and I gave him one chance...he immediately downloaded his AIM and some other thing, so the next day I took all of tha off and password protected the computer so he can't even get on without permission. He's been on a few times but he knows better now than to put his junk on here.

So far I am not having problems with my yahoo inbox and I actually love the new version. What I do is create a folder for each mails that come from the same id so they won't crowd my inbox. I actually use gmail for my mylot sign up and I had a separate folders for discussions and comments/responses. That way it's easier to pull the inbox and I know where to get what. I do the same with all of my emails like hotmail, yahoo, and gmail.

I also did what you have done with your emails, having separate folders for each kind or from senders. Like mylot notifications, all messages will be placed in that folder once received. That is filtering, right? I also have more than 1 email accounts. I use yahoo as my main email, I check this everyday through Yahoo Messenger. Once logged-in, YM notifies me with the incoming message, so I can immediately know the subject. Then I will check again my yahoo email to get the full view of the message. Those email accounts of mine are all forwarded to yahoo...

You're right. It really pays to have a separate folder for each type of email we get. I have a separate folder for mylot. 1 is for discussions and the other one is for responses and comments. Otherwise they will be messed up and it's difficult to find which especially that responses and comments get burried by the copious amount of discussions arriving every minute.

I already tried the new version or the Yahoo Mail Beta. I seems so slow although I like the new look of it. SO I switched back to the original version... Regarding mylot notifications, I can't remember if the new version still uses the filtering. I am using the filters so all my mylot notifications will be placed in one folder, all goes to mylot folder.
