ZongZi Anyone heard of this name before? It's a Chinese traditional food, which we eat at fifth day, at fifth month in Chinese Calendar, which fall on 8th June at 2008. Usually, Zongzi is wrapped by bamboo leaf, with glutinous rice with some meat, as well as some other ingredient. The ingredient is not same as any area in China, different in South-East-Asia as well. In Malaysia, Penang, we wrap the glutinous rice with some chestnut and black mushroom, then steam the Zongzi until the rice is soft. Have anyone try this before?
