Went shrimping today.....

Well it is the beginning of the season so it was a bust. Going to try again saturday morning. I want to fill my freezer with fish and shrimp this summer (I will continue to fish the rest of the year though cause the weather is good for it here most of the year). do you fish or shrimp or crab?

I've never ever been shrimping, but what a superb thing to be able to do. Shrimps are very expensive to buy, so if you're able to fill your freezer with tasty things like that then you are doing really well.
With your canning too, you will be eating well later this year!
I'd like to set up a small scale fishery at home, and grow trout.

that would be nice to have. growing up we used to go to the trout farms a lot. Loved it there. We live on the northeast coast of Florida so fishing and shrimping and crabbing is available here.
