Tell me about chromosones.

All i know is men are xy and women are x and x is a really big chrom and y are stunted chromosones that dont work.

A gene on the Y chromosome designated SRY is the master switch for making a male
SRY (for (s)ex-determining (r)egion Y) triggers the events that converts the embryo into a male. Without this gene, you get a female
