Crosswords....do you do them?

I have a habit of starting them and get on a role and all the easy ones are done. Then it comes to the harder ones and if I took some time and thought more I could get more words worked out! But no after looking over and over again I tend to give up. I have seen people (including my hubby) who finishes or almost finishes the crossword they have started and think this is great. Not me, I give up way too soon and it is meant to keep the brain alert having to think of these words........not looking good for me is it?

LOL I haven't been doing the crosswords or sudokos laely but when I do I am obsessive - I can't start a new one til I have finished the previous one! lol What does that say about me - probably that I am very weir or stubborn! xxx

Well at least you try and finish them mummymo and would not use the words (I guess one is weird) or stubborn to describe yourself. To finish them is far better than doing what I do and that is giving up. I say the same thing each time I start one and that is "I am going to finish this one no matter how long it takes!" Well those words go in one ear and out the other it seems for me!

I am the greatest loser when it comes to crossword. I know a lot of words but I find them useless in crosswordings. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to find a good place for the tiles and my playmates get overyly bored with me LOL! My favorite word game is textwist and I have got the technique to get the longest words so it's almost always a win-win for me.

No you are not the greatest loser Jemina regarding crosswords so don't say that! They are more of a challenge and for some are easier to do than others. Have not heard of the word game textwist, but sounds interesting!

Well at least you try to solve them caramello, which is still better to looking at them and giving up at the sight of them!! I have created my own crossword dictionary of words not worth remembering as they are never used during "normal" conversation!!Hahaha... Suduko is the new craze, but even the hardest ones seem to be less challenging now.... modest aren't I !! Hehehehehe...

I have tried Suduko Eagle and like crosswords have yet to finish one. I find them a little more frustrating and as you can gather I have very little patience but only time will tell. And yes you are very modest!
