When starting a new discussion, what do the numbers enclosed in parentheses under each interest represent? Is it the number of people under that interest or is it the number of discussions under that interest?I posted a picture and the numbers are encircled in red with an arrow

i think its the number of people who choose the interest thing.. and if you become active on a certain interest they will rank you from all the people under that interest.
example on this interest where you choose to categorize your post. you'll notice there is a phrase that says "your rank out of..."
