do you personally save for retirement? if so, what kind of accounts do you have? i currently have a roth IRA that i opened about 5-6 years ago. i try to make contributions yearly, but i haven't been able to for the past year. i also have a company-matched 401(k) where they automatically take 4% of my paycheck. i feel that at least this way, i'm still putting aside something. though i'm not really sure if i will have enough money put aside when retirement age comes around for me, but i have plenty of time to make some more money. do you feel that you will be prepared for that time in your life?

I'll be prepared if my husband lives into his 80's, but not if I have to go it alone. I won't be working along enough to qualify for the full pension at my job but I'll get something each month, and we have a couple of CDs and plan to put more money into savings.
