Affiliate Marketing

I was talking to someone the other day and they said that I would be good at affiliate marketing. The term sounded a little cheasy, like a work from home scam, multilevel marketing and all those "too good to be true" gimicks that bombard us all on the Internet. I did some searches on Google and found that a lot of products and services that I honestly do know and trust have opportunities for affiliate marketing. I found out that affiliate marketing is pretty much just having a link/button on your site or blog. Yes, promotion is a part of it too, but it wouldn't necessarily be hard selling. After all, I get to choose which links I want. And since these are products that I do believe in, I think I would enjoy writing and promoting them. This is only my second day of researching affiliate market programs. But I am pretty excited. I am kinda sick of having to work a lot of hours in my day just to make ends meet. So maybe affiliate marketing will be a good thing for me

Affiliate marketing is probably one of the best ways to make money and create a passive income. It can also be very tough to build it to the point of making a consistent passive income. I'm part of a program that I feel could be considered an affiliate program because the opportunity to earn passive income is very good. This program is like no other because unlike most programs where you are trying to get someone to buy a product (or spend money) on something they normally don't buy, with this program they will be saving money on something they already do! So it's pretty easy to find referrals with this free program. I do affiliate programs like SFI, Leisure Audio and while it is possible to earn checks with these companies, the earning are inconsistnet until you find active referrals. The program I'm really concentrating on, is slightly different because when a referral saves money, I make a little, so it really works out for everyone involved. Give affiliate marketing a shot, get as many programs going as you can and don't give up because referrals are hard to come by or don't stay active very long. It's been my experience that momentum is a very big factor with affiliates, when it's positive, good things happen and sometimes turn into great things. When it's negative, nothing goes right, but you just need to battle through it. Remember, if making money online were so easy, everyone would be doing it. The key is to not give up! Good luck and welcome to myLot!!!
