If we could see how many people read our discussions, but didn't respond?
I've noticed, sometimes my new discussions sit there for days with no responses. I'm sure SOMEONE has clicked on it and read it. How can we tell if our words are getting read? I think it would be nice if mylot added a feature that kept track of visits.

that's a great idea! On the bright side, at least even though they don't post a response, we would know that someone visited our discussions. They might not have an idea what we were talking about in our posts or that they simply don't like some topics. But at least It was viewed. But then, on the negative side,it would somehow affect our mood for the day.Because, the impact on us would be to think that yeah it was viewed but they are not interested in our topics..
For me, I'd rather have viewers even without a response than no viewers at all..

That's how I feel, at least I would know that someone read what I have to say, It wouldn't bother me that they didn't have something to say in return.

Interesting. I bet a couple of people read mine and didn't respond. I'm not really hoping that they would or anything. I mean it was nice that a few did. There realy should be a 'hits' counter on our main page. That should be something Mylot can consider in the near future.

Yes I agree that this added feature would be nice to give you a estimate of how many people read your response but did't reply. I try to respond to new discussions but some you just can't understand and have no choice but not respond to them. I think we all should bring this added feature up to mylot head people and see what they say what's the most there going to say no? at least it worth giveing a try.

I agree that would be a nice feature. But maybe also a depressing one. A thousand people had a look at the posted discussion but nobody bothered to reply...;)

Yes, but it would help to developwritten communication skills. After 100 people look at a discussion but don't respond, you could try to re write it in different words, using different tags, and maybe get more interest.
