A four year old child severely maltreated by his own family! How do you feel?

I was really moved to tears and can't help my emotion upon seeing a late Sunday show that features one 4-year old boy severely maltreated by his own mother and sister. He was full of wounds inflicted by his sister and mother and was all day being left alone until he fall asleep naked, hands tied and a sack of rice on top of him. The mother would go early in the morning to gamble and the sister along with another younger sibling would play all day and leave the poor young child on that condition.
What can you say of these heartless people? How would you feel and react seeing and knowing that such thing I cannot even imagine to be true, really do happen?

When I hear things like this I really get angered! I do not understand, for the life of me, why or how anyone could harm any child! I know it happens and I really feel sad for these children. With so nmany options nowadays, like adoption, people like this should use this option to give their children a good life.

I would want the mother and sister to be severely punished
'and the child be taken by grandparents or foster parents
'who would be kind and treat him as he should have been
treated. these kinds of people make me sick. they should'
never be around small kids at all ever.

People who mistreat another person that way don't deserve their own lives, let alone to care for others. What kind of a sick person would do such a thing to another person?
