Favorite spieces or race

I see that the "favorite character" already has been already talked about but as a whole, human race excluded, which race is your favorite? Mine is Borg... I read it once that each race in Star trek, at least the later ones, are based on true every day concepts... "Surviving for a sole purpose of existing is no different than that of Cancer cells... Spreading, consuming other cells, changing, assimilating....." I read that phrase in a star trek book once, not sure which one...
