Considering the last discussion on this was 8 - 12 months ago and the way software is evolving all the time, I need some help. Please! I need to find out what program is the best for editing and copyrighting photos. If they are 2 different programs, that is okay but I really, really need some good opinions on both types of products, Thanks everyone.

You need to decide whether or not you want to watermark and/or embed copyright info into your photos. Also, I highly recommend Flickr.com for photo sharing. I use Microsoft Expression Media for all my photo organizing and more. It works on MACs and PCs.

i am using adobe photoshop cs. not that much of a difference from cs2, but i've heard cs3 has more to offer and it's new, so it has the latest additions from the past versions. ;]

Thanks. I visited that site and there is a "hold" on downloading from their site until July 1, I believe. I want to use a trial version first but am anxious to try it out. Trials aren't even available at their site right now. Bummer.

i use photoshop cs2 it has everything you need to enhance photos. It can also be used for vector art. its an all in one tool. i use this to edit my sons photos for his website. My husband is a jewelry designer and he uses it to create ring designs. he is more adept to using this than any other software and he does a pretty good job at it. Though it has a copyright plugin i havent really tried using it. or you can do it the old fashioned way. layer your copyright and signature over the image then flatten it.

Thank you for your response. I will check into that. After reading your response, I searched for CS2. I see there is a CS3 and that looks to be more expensive than I was considering spending. I will search for cheaper ones but if I am serious about these photos, which I am, I probably will have to spend a fair amount of money. That is what I am looking for though, is an application that could handle almost anything I want to do. Thanks again for your help.
