i'm planning to resign and look for another company to start my career as a call center agent though i'm almost in my 1 year with my current company. can anyone advise, is it right for me to go jobhunting now for anther job or company? i'm almost iwth the company for 1 year and with that, there will an increase on my salary. if i'm going to resign, i will again adapt to the new job, new schedule, and i will lost the benefits i have since i'm a regular employee. now here's the catch. i'm assisting my sister with her studies financially and with my current salary, i can hardly accomplish that. my current company also has a lot of mistakes or faults when it comes to giving us compensation. every pay day the manager would ask if he have a dispute with our pay. there are also other policies the company has that we disagree with. AND ON MY ACCOUNT, ALMOST EVERY 2 MONTHS THERE ARE NEW TRAINESS BUT AFTER A MONTH, 50% OF THEM ARE GONE...MOST OF THEM RESIGNS... i want to stay with a company that i'm confident i will grow and have good compensation and benefits...i think all of us does... but with what's happening with the company and my current situation, i feel i hardly can accomplish my goals...my team mates and i are very close friends..i also don't want to leave them... guys, please advise. thank you.

With those instances that you have cited, I would be looking for another company if I were you. You could find a better company here in the Philippines that would give you better benefits and where you could grow for your chosen career. Don't think of the salary increase that you could get in your current company, how much would that be compared to the satisfaction you will get from a better company. And why would there be a dispute on your pay? That seems strange to me. You're young and could still afford to look for a better job than what you have now. Go for it and good luck!

i think job satisfaction comes first into picture...if u feel u cant grow in this company its better to quit...i know it would be hard to leave your team mates but to get something u gotta sacrifice other..u can always meet your friends or chat with them by having some get togethers..without having confidence or satisfaction while doing work,no one can work..so think and decide..see what other companies offers..if u feel you are getting the right compensation and opportunities to grow its better to shift..if i was in your position i would shift my job...all the best for taking a good decision..be guided by your consciousness..

I do not have plans of resigning from my previous work.. but I needed to in order for me to concentrate on my review for my upcoming IELTS examination them. And it turned out to be a worthy sacrifice because by God's grace I did pass my exam and got a very good grades which is more than I have expected.
