Yes there are many good sites out there that will help you make money . It depends on how much you want to make, and how much time you want to put in . I just do sites like this , review sites, ebay, and writing sites . That will make you a total of an extra $200 a month . If you wanna make more you might have to put money into it .

OK, I've not taken an online job before, so you may take what I say with a pinch of salt. However, what I will say is: 1 - As writers, we are often stuck with not having much money and so we need to be open to new opportunities. The web allows us to link up with the rest of the world from our desk and so we should be open to the prospect of looking for work beyond our geographies. For example, I'm here in Singapore, a tiny blip of an island in South East Asia but I can look for and perform work for say, a company in the USA. It makes sense for me to work for someone in the USA and the American company should benefit from outsourcing to me. 2 - However, we have to be sharp on the internet. Unlike the IT companies in India who dealt with established multinationals, writing work is usually performed by us as individuals and our paymasters may not be the most established of companies. So, we got to be careful and do things like insist on an upfront payment before starting work.

In response to your question, yes, but not as a bread and butter kind of work. Earning online can only be done as a sideline especially when you've only got started. If you really have the skill, like the girl who's now making money because she's selling blog templates, then you can probably expand your horizons and "open a shop" the modern way. Competition is tough though and you have to come up with a clever way to make your shop noticed. Bottomline, it is possible but generally (at least for me) a passive income only.
