Hybrid conversion kit will they be available?

Could you imagine who much money will be awarded to the most successful hybrid conversion kit for all cars? It'd be like putting an air condition kit to any car when they weren't the norm back then. If hybrid conversion kit was like taking your car to the shop and be ready in a day or two. Then it would be ideal. I wouldn't think that be such a hard things to do with all the technology and a little R&D. Why buy a brand new hybrid car when you can just upgrade your car to a hybrid? Has any mechanic shop come begging for that from the car company?

That would be nice but probably won't happen. The car companies want to sell new cars. If you want a hybrid, in their opinion you need to buy a shiny new one. And I'm not sure a regular repair shop would take on the liability that comes with such a conversion...
