Did you marry your father...?

It is said that women will often marry men who have the same qualities, mannerisms, tendencies, personality traits, etc of their fathers. Do you agree with that? My dad was always a "bad boy" getting into mischief, defying authority, on and on...and he could have very easily made poor choices when it really mattered and landed on the wrong side of the law rather than the side he ended up on. My first husband had all of the negative qualities my father had...but...he made the poor choices. My second husband has some of the same traits as my dad, but certainly not as many. (To be honest they're some of the more annoying ones...haha). How about you? Did you marry someone just like dad?

No I didn't. And thank goodness. I married the exact opposite. I married a wonderful guy. He is EVERYTHING my dad is NOT!! Attentive to the needs of his wife. Interested in the daily goings on of his child. I married someone who Loves his family. And he lets us know this. My husband makes an effort. I am a lucky gal.

No, I married someone more like my mother. It makes sense, I guess, since I'm more like my dad than my mom.

My husband does have some of the same traits as my father had, but not to the extreme that my father did.
